Heartwarming Project: Win Support from Staffs

    SGCC (the Company for short) considers the “heartwarming” project as a foundation work to improve the staffs’ degree of satisfaction.

    By carrying out a wide range of events themed on “Offering Love and Warmth”, the Company does a good job of assistance to the staffs in need. At the Company, staffs always receive cake and flowers on their birthdays and feel solicitude from the organization when they get sick. A great many departments of the Company have formulated specific care measures, for example, congratulations shall be extended to those staffs whose children have received the letter of admission from the universities, and allowance shall be given to children of the staffs in need, etc. During the important festivals, the Company organizes relevant leaders to go deep into the production line and impoverished staffs’ families, showing sincere solicitude for workers on duty, retired veteran cadres, and impoverished staffs, etc. Over the past one year, the trade union actively assisted the administrative office in carrying out a series of events like “Sending Warmth”, “Education Aid in Golden Autumn”, and Help Staffs in Need, etc. All told, trade unions of different levels in the Company handled 130-odd matters for the staffs, and condoled with 1,550 households of staffs, with total consolation money exceeding RMB 3.60 million. Presently, “Heartwarming” work is transforming from the festival-oriented work to frequent work.
