State Grid Corporation Was Re-Elected as the Top Two among the Top 500 Most Valuable Chinese Brands

    The Top 500 Most Valuable Chinese Brands 2014 has been issued by the “World Brand Summit” as organized by the World Brand Lab. Under this national list of Chinese brands obtained via relevant analysis on finance, customer behaviors and brand strength, State Grid Corporation was re-elected, with the brand value of RMB 241.562 billion, as the top two brands among the top 500 most valuable Chinese brands. Compared to that in the year of 2013, its brand value in the current year increases by RMB 5.905 billion and has been continuously improved for successive 8 years.

    The top 5 enterprises listed, for this time, as the top 500 most valuable Chinese brands are respectively Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) (RMB 256.219 billion), State Grid Corporation (SGC) (RMB 241.562 billion), China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) (RMB 179.586 billion), China Mobile Communications (CMC) (RMB 178.928 billion) and China Life Insurance (CLI) (RMB 174.536 billion). And the brands were elected respectively from 25 related industries including, without limitation, the food and beverage, the textile and garment, the mass media, the information technology, the household appliances, the automobiles, and the energy.
